Katherine of KAS Films: Breakthrough Filmmaker of the Year

This week on The Becky Sessions, we’re joined by the brilliant Katherine from KAS Films, recent winner of Breakthrough Filmmaker of the Year at the British Wedding Film Festival.

Katherine shares her journey from working in television to accidentally falling into wedding filmmaking after filming a friend’s wedding… and how that one decision led to a thriving business.

We chat about finding your storytelling style, the magic (and chaos) of shooting weddings solo, experimenting with Super 8, and the unexpected pressure that can come with industry recognition.
